Share the screen

Start, pause and stop the screen sharing

  • When you connect to an ASTROS Station, click the Play button to start sharing your entire screen on the display.

  • Click the Pause button to freeze your projection on the last frame.

  • Click the Stop butoon and ASTROS App will instantly stop sharing your screen.

Window Sharing

You can choose to share either a specific application window or the entire screen. When you use Window Sharing, it will prevent private pop-up messages from interrupting your screen sharing.

  1. Click Window Sharing button

  2. You will see two tabs, one is and the other is . Click App window , choose the application window which you want to share and click Select.

During the Window Sharing, your screen sharing will be frozen if the window you have selected is not being placed on top of all windows or is being minimized. In such circumstance, the Touch Back feature will not work as you intended either.

Window Sharing is only available on the Windows and macOS ASTROS App.

Full Screen

When there are mutiple devices sharing the screen on the display, you can click the Full Screen button to switch your screen sharing from Split Screen to Full Screen. You can click the Full Screen button to switch to Split Screen.

Mute and Unmute

Audio driver is required for ASTROS App to share audio in the macOS environment. A yellow dot will appear on top of the Mute button if audio driver is not installed. To install the driver, you can take one of these two actions:

  • Install the audio driver during ASTROS App installation.

  • Click the Mute button to trigger the audio driver installation process

Remote View

Remote View is only available on ASTROS Station AS-201.

Before using Remote View, make sure you enable Remote View on the l.

One-to-Many

You can connect and share the screen to up to 4 ASTROS Stations simultaneously. You can choose to share different contents to different ASTROS Stations. All you need to do is and share the screen.

One-to-Manyis only available on the Windows and macOS ASTROS App.

Operate ASTROS App from the System Tray

When you are connected to an ASTROS Station using the ASTROS App, you can minimize the app's window and . You can operate the ASTROS App from the system tray.

  • Open App / Quit App: To open or quit the ASTROS App, click on the ASTROS App icon and .

  • Play / Unmute: To play or unmute the ASTROS Station you are connected to, click on the ASTROS App icon and select the ASTROS Station. From there, you will .

  • Check IP Address: If you want to know the IP address of the ASTROS Station you are connected to, click on the ASTROS App icon and select the ASTROS Station. You will

Click the Unmute Button to turn on the audio of your screen sharing. Click the Mute Button to turn off the audio of your screen sharing.

Click the Remote View button to view the displayed content on the display with your own device. To find the Remote View button, you have to click on ASTROS App and you can see .

Users can mark frequently used ASTROS Stations as favorites by clicking the star-shaped Favorite button next to the Station name. The marked ASTROS Station will always be prioritized on the Station list.

Quick Join allows users to quickly connect to a pre-determined ASTROS Station. on the configuration landing page of a specific ASTROS Station. You can refer to see how to got to the configuration landing page. The Quick Join file can be renamed and dispatched to other computers. You can also follow our to set up.
